LKAB Mekaniska

LKAB Mekaniska is a workshop specializing in steel construction and machining. We have the machines, facilities, and expertise to develop products, design, and deliver everything from small components to large steel constructions.

Your role

As a Production Leader, you lead and coordinate the daily work within component repairs. You prioritize and allocate jobs in the short term, hold pulse meetings, and ensure that production has the right capacity. You support planning and preparation by managing urgent orders and issues that are not in the regular system. You ensure that finished components are ready for delivery according to schedule and support production with technical questions.

What you bring with you

You are a person who creates clarity in everyday life and gets people to work towards the same goal through structure, communication, and presence. With a good ability to plan and prioritize, you keep the production flow together, ensure capacity, and make sure the work moves forward. You have an analytical and solution-oriented approach where you can quickly understand technical issues, manage disruptions, and contribute wise decisions in pressured situations. At the same time, you enjoy improving routines and working methods, driving development that leads to shorter lead times, more efficient flows, and a more stable production.

We expect you to have

• Driver's license for manual transmission
• Complete high school diploma
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

It is meritorious to have

• Experience in a leadership role
• Experience working in a mechanical workshop
• Knowledge of Monitor, IFS, or similar business systems
